This 2 day Basic Safe Opening Course is hands-on training designed for locksmiths looking to expand their services by offering practical safe opening.

You’ll learn how to drill and open graded safes ranging from S2 to Grade 2, using real-world techniques and live safes.

• Hard plate drill sharpening

• Penetrating hard plates and barrier materials
• 3-wheel mechanical combination locks
• Scope work
• Key lock drill points

• Safe repairs
• Handing the safe back to the customer professionally

Participants will inspect safes in their open state, then work collaboratively to lock and reopen them using the techniques taught. This immersive experience ensures you leave with confidence and practical skills.

All refreshments and lunch are provided throughout both days.

The Activity centre has full facilities including toilets and kitchen.
